There's a bit more to Pick 4 than choosing four numbers, but not much! Follow these quick steps when filling in a Daily 4 playslip in West Virginia and you'll be ready to buy a ticket for the next draw in a matter of moments.
Draws take place every evening and the cut-off time for ticket sales is 6:49 PM ET. The numbers are selected immediately afterwards.
Select four numbers from 0 to 9 - that's one number from each column on a playslip, so you can play the same number multiple times if you wish. Alternatively, mark 'Easy Pick' for a random selection. There are five panels on a slip.
This is where the flexibility of Pick 4 comes in. You can decide to match your numbers exactly, in any order, or split your wager between both game types. Go to the Ways to Play page for more details of all the options.
Decide whether to wager $0.50 per play or $1. Both price points are far more appealing than most other lotteries but think carefully - the amount you put down directly determines the prize you can win.
Use the Multi Draw section of your playslip to specify how many consecutive draws you want to play. The options are 2, 4, 6, 12, 18 or 24. Leave this space blank if you just wish to enter the next draw.
Each game type has its own winning requirements. It may be that you have to match the numbers in exact order, or in any order. If you play a Straight/Box (Exact/Any), it is possible to win both prizes, or just part of the payout if your numbers are in a different order to the one you specified.
Go to the Odds and Prizes page to see everything that can be won in WV Daily 4, along with the probability for each game type.
